Site-Specific Project, Biennal in Transit 2004 – Castel Sant’Angelo, Rome
For centuries Castel Sant’Angelo hosted on different floors the biggest prison of the city and a sumptuous Papal residency. I tried, with my rugs, to clean this moral contradiction a little bit, then I opened a free laundry service in situ for viewers in need of cleansing their own conscience as well.
