site/situation-specific art

About

Born in Rome, Italy and based in the U.K. for 10 years then in Rome from 2012 till 2016, today she lives in London and works between both cities.

My practice consists of translating what interests and seduces me of the real into aesthetic experiences.
I define my work as site- and/or situation-specific to express the dynamics of this process, based on responding to places and issues I connect with. I consider my works to be a reflection on how we embody time and space while questioning the political and ethical frames that define the social contexts we live in, often challenging myself and the viewers to deal with unconditional exposure and employing conceptual and emotional provocation as a core, relational strategy.
